Your BC customers have boards breathing down their necks demanding an AI story. Make them look good with an AI reality instead, built on the right data architecture. Copilot is in the product and Fabric is on the roadmap, so what’s missing? Something subtle enough that most humans miss it, and consequential enough that an agent will swallow it whole: duplicate records.

Fabric-native does not mean you have a governed data warehouse. Microsoft’s own documentation says Fabric primary keys are metadata only, not enforced. Old-school data discipline, enforced primary keys and deliberate reconciliation turn out to be exactly what agents need. Let alone what a CFO will sign off on. Go on, ask your CFO how they feel about duplicated closing transactions.
