Agentic Coding in AL, Done Right + AI Tooling for Real Projects
AI can already write AL code — with you or without you. The real question is reliability: can you take responsibility for shipping an app created purely by AI? Some tried last year and failed spectacularly. Most developers and consultants aren’t ready to trust AI without a workflow that keeps the agent accountable and you in control.
Dmitry opens the session with Spec�'Driven Development (SDD): a practical agentic workflow that takes you from customer brief to plan to implemented, tested and fully documented AL solution. You’ll see how structure, context and the right MCPs make AI output predictable instead of chaotic.
Tom then continues with a hands�'on tour of AI tools that boost developer productivity across Business Central and beyond. This includes deterministic layout editing with the Word Layout MCP, automated project knowledge using OpenWiki, and GitHub�'driven logging and prioritization workflows that give agents real project context.
