Panel: How We Use AI in our AL Development Workflow

AI is no longer just a buzzword, it is a practical tool that is changing how AL development gets done. In this interactive panel discussion MVPs will share how they use AI to streamline code analysis, improve efficiency while vibe coding (the hands-on development process), and enhance collaboration through code reviews. Expect candid insights on what works, what doesn't, and how AI is helping developers understand complex logic, track data flows, organize requirements and maintain code quality while accelerating delivery. Join us for a discussion that goes beyond theory and into practical strategies you can apply in your own Business Central development projects.

Speakers:

Arend-Jan Kauffmann

CTO at Lumos 365 Ltd. | MVP

Arend-Jan Kauffmann is CTO at Lumos 365 Ltd., a UK-based partner with a Business Central solution for the energy sector.

With over 20 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central and 30 years of experience in the IT industry, he has a solid track record in this business. With a strong focus on architecture, design and integration, he worked in different roles and with a broad range of technologies and platforms, including C/SIDE & VS Code development, C/AL and AL, Microsoft .Net, Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

He strongly believes that knowledge increases by sharing it, not by saving it. By delivering workshops and being a frequent speaker at conferences, he can put this into practice. Since 2013 Arend-Jan is awarded as Microsoft MVP Business Solutions.

Dmitry Katson

Architect of AI Agents - Founder of CentralQ.ai - Microsoft MVP - Contribution Hero

Dmitry Katson is a 🏆 Microsoft MVP 🏆 Contribution Hero and Founder of CentralQ.ai, an AI-powered knowledge and agent platform built for the Business Central.

With over 20 years of experience, he is recognized for turning ideas into real-world AI solutions — from copilots to autonomous agents.

Dmitry focuses on bringing human and machine intelligence together to create agents that understand, analyze, and act inside Business Central.

A frequent speaker at Directions, BC TechDays, and global AI events, he continues to push the boundaries of what's possible when AI meets enterprise systems.

Eric "waldo" Wauters

"Because you can doesn't mean you should"

Eric “waldo” Wauters

Eric is one of the founding partners of iFacto Business Solutions and Dynex bv.

Tom Kapitan

Fusion5 Business Solutions

Tomas is Microsoft MVP for Business Applications. He has been working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central since his university days. He began his journey as a NAV developer and quickly transitioned to a lead role. Vjekoslav Babic

Solutions Architect | MVP

Vjekoslav Babić (Vjeko) is a Business Central architect, developer, trainer, author and blogger with over three decades of IT experience, two of which have been spent in the Business Central ecosystem.

His passion lies in web and mobile technologies, but deep down he's an incurable hacker who loves writing code and breaking things apart to see how they work.

As a frequent conference speaker and blogger, Vjeko pushes the boundaries of what's possible, connecting Business Central with anything that can be plugged into it through obscure loopholes or undocumented interfaces, especially when they're not meant to be used that way. In his view, nothing is really meant for any particular purpose, and figuring out how to make things useful beyond their intended design is the meaning of life.

Since 2010, Vjeko has been awarded the Microsoft Dynamics NAV MVP. You can find him at his blog "Vjeko.com - ideas in the cloud".
