The Zero-Handoff ERP: Architecting a Multi-Agent Workforce
Building one AI tool is easy. The real challenge starts when you try to get multiple agents to work together on a single process without them losing the thread or breaking the data. In 2026, we are moving away from single bots and toward teams of specialized tools.
In this session, we will focus on how we build this in Business Central:
- Why it's safer to build small, sharp tools in AL instead of one giant "do-it-all" bot.
- How to move "memory" and state between agents so they stay on the same page as a task moves across different systems.
- How to write AL code that acts as a guardrail, making sure an autonomous agent can't bypass your core business logic.
- I'll run a multi-step workflow where different agents must coordinate to complete a task. We'll look at the handoff moments, where the data flow breaks, and how to build a reliable recovery path.
