Generative AI presents remarkable new opportunities that can transform our approach to ERP systems, particularly Business Central. However, the development of generative AI features differs significantly from traditional development methods.

In this session is part 1 of 2 sessions, we will begin with a brief introduction and overview of what generative AI entails. Following that, we will delve into the typical structure of an AI feature. Microsoft has already released several AI features for Business Central, and we will share our experiences and insights.
Additionally, we will discuss upcoming features in future releases and introduce you to advanced prompt engineering techniques.

In the second session you will learn how Microsoft leverages advanced prompt engineering techniques and LLM capabilities to enhance its first-party Copilot features. We will guide you step-by-step through the process of building features like Sales Lines Suggestions. This session will focus on using functional calling (tools), developer tools, effective AL patterns, and practical examples.
