Microsoft presents: Automating workflows in a legacy ERP with Power Platform and AI
The times of manual data entry or data migration from a legacy ERP to modern systems like Dynamics 365 Business Central are in the past. In today's world, to stay competitive, companies must automate their processes so that employees don't waste time on repetitive, manual tasks. However, many organizations still rely on legacy software, such as older ERP systems, which often lack modern automation capabilities.
In this session, we'll share a real-life case study on how we used Power Automate, RPA, and AI to automate common business tasks—saving time, reducing errors, and lowering operational costs. While the example is based on a legacy ERP, the same approach can be applied to modern platforms such as Microsoft Business Central or other business systems.
During this session we will highlight:
- Using RPA to register data in an outdated ERP system,
- Automating the manual processing of large PDF forms,
- Leveraging generative AI to process large amounts of data,
- Examples of automation in vendor management, compliance, and financial processes.
- Guidance how to use such automation to move data from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 Business Central
We'll walk you through the entire process—from integrating with a legacy ERP, working with SQL Server stored procedures and 3rd party APIs, to using Adobe Acrobat for PDF validation and Business Central connector in Power Automate.
Join us and learn how to make your workflows faster and smarter with automation!
