Instead of using direct API connection between two systems another alternative is to use Message Queues instead. In this session we will look why queues are useful to build a robust and performant integration between business systems. We will explore what message queues are in general and what is the general architecture of implementing integrations using message queues. I will also show real life example of how message queues are implemented in Business Central using Azure Storage Queues with Azure Functions to connect Business Central and Jira.
