Building your own Business Central Copilot features, why, when & how?

We've all seen the Copilot features MS have created within Business Central, but this session will explore whether it's an option for ISVs and partners. How can you use Copilot features in your product or PTE development to increase flexibility and capability?

First, we'll help you determine where to deploy Copilot. In what scenarios will Business Central fully exploit its power without hitting any dead ends? We'll explain the user cases we've already seen and their commonalities.

Next, we'll explain what is involved in the development process (at a high level, this is a design, not a development session). How do you correctly specify a Copilot requirement? What resources are there to help with your first one? How long will it take, and what are the risks?

Then, we'll cover how you user acceptance test it when there are potentially thousands of permutations. We'll show how to automate tests using the new testing toolkit. Copilot is changing so fast, how do we keep it doing what our clients rapidly come to rely on?

Finally, Microsoft has promised to explain how it will be monetised shortly. If this comes in time, we'll give a partner's perspective on those options. Regardless, having had Copilot features in our AppSource apps since October 24, we'll share our experience and discuss the options we've explored on how clients get charged.
